A series of one-to-ones
The Ink Spot is a flexible way to develop your writing, and is especially suited to the writer with a busy calendar!
The programme involves a series of six one-to-one meetings over a 6-12 month period.
I will work with you to create a Personal Development Plan identifying your goals. The PDP will form the basis of our meetings, which may also include constructive critical feedback of your work as you develop it.
Because the one-to-ones focus on you as a writer as well as your writing, the approach is far more effective than simply reviewing your work in isolation.
On average the package employs a combination of face-to-face meetings with phone calls and emailed feedback:
- X 3 face-to-face meetings
- X 3 combination phone calls and emailed feedback
Each one-to-one will last approximately one-hour, with an initial meeting of up to two-hours. Of course, this does not take reading and preparation of feedback into account.
The combination of face-to-face and telephone meetings may vary depending on the writer’s needs and location. For instance, it is possible to undertake The Ink Spot as a distance learner, in which case all meetings will be held over the phone and Internet.
This programme is flexible and works around you. The style and frequency of our meetings will be agreed in the initial meeting.
Subsequent meetings will involve a focused discussion about how you’re progressing with your plan, and will give you an opportunity to receive direct feedback for your work.
The series of six one-to-ones are held over the course of 6-12 months (to be agreed at the beginning of the programme).
Programme Fee: £45/one-to-one
